Polyoxymethylene (POM)

Also known as Polyacetal is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability.

POM is characterized by its high strength, hardness and rigidity to −40 °C. POM is intrinsically opaque white, due to its high crystalline composition, but it is available in all colors.

POM is used in production od Gears, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Parts, Packaging, Sports, Furniture etc.

Formosa Plastic Group was founded in 1954 and are one largest and most reputed Petrochemical companies in the world. “Formocon” is a well known brand of POM from Formosa and is produced in different grades and Melt Index.

Formocon FM090 is a MI 9 general purpose POM grade which is very well known brand used in local market.
